Ryan Martin is the founder and only inspector at Thumb Inspections. With over two decades of hands-on experience in the trades, Ryan brings a rare blend of practical knowledge, formal training, and deep local insight to every property he evaluates. His journey began early—working alongside skilled craftsmen as a teenager, developing a keen eye for quality construction and structural integrity.

 

Now 42, Ryan holds a Michigan Builder’s License and is also a licensed Real Estate Agent and REALTOR®. This unique combination gives him a well-rounded understanding of both how homes are built and how they are bought and sold. His multiple credentials allow him to bridge the gap between construction and real estate, providing clients with inspections that are both thorough and contextually informed.

 

Dedicated to serving the communities of Huron, Sanilac, Tuscola, Lapeer, St. Clair, Macomb, and Oakland counties, Ryan founded Thumb Inspections to offer a reliable, ethical, and straightforward inspection service that clients and agents can trust.
